【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsandtestmethodsforthematerial,dimensions,andworkmanship,andthepropertiesofextrudedshapesofrodsandbarsmadefrompoly(vinylchloride)(PVC),andchlorinatedpoly(vinylchloride)(CPVC).1.2Thepropertiesincludedinthisspecificationarethoserequiredforthecompositionscovered.RequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplicationsmaybedescribedbyusingtheclassificationsystemgiveninSection4.1.3ThisspecificationallowsfortheuseofregrindandrecycledplasticsasdefinedinGuideD5033providing:productsproducedfromregrindorrecycledPVCmaterialcanbeshowntomeettherequirementsofthisstandardwithregardtomaterialclassification,physicalperformance,dimensionsandworkmanship;andtheregrindorrecycledplasticsusedhavenotbeensubjectedtosevereenvironmentsinpostconsumerapplications(suchaschemicalservice)whichcouldadverselyaffecttheendproductsperformancewhensubjectedtomachiningorcriticalapplicationsorboth.1.4Thevaluesarestatedininch-poundunitsandareregardedasthestandardinallpropertyanddimensionaltables.Forreferencepurposes,SIunitsarealsoincludedinTable1only.1.5Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportionssectionofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
