【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestheprinciplesfordeterminingthefracturetoughnessofplasticsinthecrack-openingmode(modeI)underdefinedconditions.Twotestmethodswithcrackedspecimensaredefined,namelythree-point-bendingtestsandcompact-specimentensiletestsinordertosuitdifferenttypesofequipmentavailableordifferenttypesofmaterial.Themethodsaresuitableforusewiththefollowingrangeofmaterials:—rigidandsemi-rigidthermoplasticmoulding,extrusionandcastingmaterials;—rigidandsemi-rigidthermosettingmouldingandcastingmaterials.Certainrestrictionsonthelinearityoftheload-displacementdiagram,onthespecimenwidthandonthethicknessareimposedtoensurevalidity(see6.4)sincetheschemeusedassumeslinearelasticbehaviourofthecrackedmaterialandastateofplanestrainatthecracktip.Finally,thecrackmustbesharpenoughsothatanevensharpercrackwillnotresultinsignificantlylowervaluesofthemeasuredproperties.
