【摘要】:Theresultsobtainedbythesetestmethodsshouldserveasaguidein,butnotasthesolebasisfor,theselectionofachemical-resistantcarbonbrickforaparticularapplication.Noattempthasbeenmadetoincorporateintothesetestmethodsallthefactorsthatmayaffecttheperformanceofcarbonbrickwhensubjectedtovariousactualserviceconditions.1.1Thesetestmethodsareintendedforuseasshort-termtestsforevaluatingthephysicalpropertiesofcarbonbrickatvarioustemperaturesinimmersionservice.Thesetestmethodsprovideameansofdeterminingthefollowingchangesinthecarbonbrickspecimenandthetestmedia:1.1.1Weight,appearanceandcompressivestrengthofthecarbonbrickspecimen.1.1.2Appearanceofthetestmediabefore,duringandaftertestingofthecarbonbrickspecimen.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesstatedinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
