【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardappliestotheclassificationofdegreesofprotectionprovidedbyenclosuresforrotatingelectricalmachines.Itdefinestherequirementsforprotectiveenclosuresthatareinallotherrespectssuitablefortheirintendeduseandwhich,fromthepointofviewofmaterialsandworkmanship,ensurethatthepropertiesdealtwithinthisstandardaremaintainedundernormalconditionsofuse.Thisstandarddoesnotspecify:·degreesofprotectionagainstmechanicaldamageofthemachine,orconditionssuchasmoisture(producedforexamplebycondensation),corrosivevapours,fungusorvermin;·typesofprotectionofmachinesforuseinanexplosiveatmosphere;·therequirementsforbarriersexternaltotheenclosurewhichhavetobeprovidedsolelyforthesafetyofpersonnel.Incertainapplications(suchasagriculturalordomesticappliances),moreextensiveprecautionsagainstaccidentalordeliberatecontactmaybespecified.Thisstandardgivesdefinitionsforstandarddegreesofprotectionprovidedbyenclosuresapplicabletorotatingelectricalmachinesasregardsthe:a)protectionofpersonsagainstcontactswithorapproachtolivepartsandagainstcontactwithmovingparts(otherthansmoothrotatingshaftsandthelike)insidetheenclosureandprotectionofthemachineagainstingressofsolidforeignobjects;b)protectionofmachinesagainsttheharmfuleffectsduetoingressofwater.Itgivesdesignationsfortheseprotectivedegreesandteststobeperformedtocheckthatthemachinesmeettherequirementsofthisstandard.
